Referral Program Terms
1. Program Overview
ILMA Digital Academy (“IDA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) offers a Referral Program that allows current students, alumni, and approved participants (“Referrers”) to earn rewards by referring new students to our 8-Week Digital Marketing Career Accelerator program.
2. Eligibility for Referrers
Eligible Referrers include:
- Current IDA students in good standing
- IDA alumni who have successfully completed the program
- Industry professionals approved by IDA management
- Corporate partners and educational institutions with referral agreements
Referrer Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must provide accurate contact and payment information
- Must comply with all program terms and applicable laws
- Cannot refer themselves or immediate family members living in the same household
3. Qualified Referrals
A referral is considered qualified when:
- The referred person (“Referee”) is a new prospect who has not previously inquired about IDA programs
- Referee enrolls using the Referrer’s unique referral code/link
- Referee completes enrollment and pays the required fees (minimum 50% of course fees)
- Referee attends the program for at least 2 weeks without withdrawal
- Referee was not already in our database or inquiry system
Non-Qualifying Referrals:
- Existing prospects already in our system (50% reward may apply)
- Self-referrals or family members in the same household
- Referrals from competitors or individuals with conflicts of interest
- Referees who withdraw within the first 2 weeks
- Referrals not using the designated referral code/link
4. Referral Rewards Structure
Standard Referral Rewards:
- New Referral: ₹5,000 cash reward + 20% discount on future IDA courses
- Existing Prospect Referral: ₹2,500 cash reward (50% of standard rate)
- Corporate Bulk Referrals (5+ students): ₹7,500 per qualified referral
- Alumni Referrals: Additional ₹1,000 bonus (₹6,000 total)
Payment Processing:
- Referral rewards processed 30 days after referee’s course commencement
- Payments made monthly on the first Tuesday of each month
- Rewards paid via bank transfer, UPI, or as agreed with referrer
- Tax implications are the responsibility of the referrer
5. Referral Process
Step 1: Registration
- Contact IDA referral team to register as an approved referrer
- Receive unique referral code/link and promotional materials
- Complete referrer profile with banking/payment details
Step 2: Referral Submission
- Share referral code/link with potential students
- Ensure referee uses your code during inquiry/enrollment process
- Submit referral form prior to referee’s enrollment (mandatory)
Step 3: Tracking and Rewards
- Track referral status through online portal or direct communication
- Receive notifications when referee enrolls and becomes eligible
- Claim rewards after 30-day completion period
6. Referrer Responsibilities and Restrictions
Permitted Activities:
- Share accurate information about IDA programs and benefits
- Use provided marketing materials and approved content
- Promote through personal networks, social media, and professional channels
- Maintain ethical and professional conduct in all referral activities
Prohibited Activities:
- Make false or misleading claims about IDA programs or outcomes
- Spam or unsolicited bulk marketing to acquire referrals
- Use IDA brand name or materials for commercial purposes outside this program
- Engage in activities that damage IDA’s reputation or violate applicable laws
- Guarantee placement, salary outcomes, or other results to potential students
7. Program Modifications and Termination
IDA Rights:
- Modify referral reward structure with 30 days’ notice
- Suspend or terminate individual referrers for program violations
- Discontinue the referral program at any time with reasonable notice
- Review and approve all marketing materials used by referrers
Referrer Rights:
- Withdraw from the program at any time with written notice
- Receive earned rewards for qualified referrals made prior to withdrawal
- Access tracking information and program updates
8. Dispute Resolution
Internal Grievance Process:
- Initial complaint to Academic Counselor
- Escalation to Academic Director if unresolved
- Final appeal to Management Committee
- Decision communicated within 10 business days
External Resolution:
- Mediation through agreed mediator if internal resolution unsuccessful
- Legal proceedings subject to jurisdiction of Bangalore courts
- All disputes governed by Indian law
