1. Scholarship Overview
The ILMA Digital Academy Merit Scholarship provides one (1) full scholarship per batch for the 8-Week Digital Marketing Career Accelerator program, awarded based on academic merit, entrance test performance, and personal interview.
2. Scholarship Benefits
Full Scholarship Package Includes:
- Complete 8-Week Digital Marketing Career Accelerator course (valued at ₹75,000)
- All course materials, resources, and access to learning platforms
- Placement assistance and career support services
- Lifetime alumni network access and ongoing support
- Industry certifications and completion certificate
- Access to exclusive workshops and advanced training sessions
3. Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements:
- Minimum 60% marks in the highest completed qualification
- For graduates: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- For students: Currently pursuing final year of graduation
- For working professionals: Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
General Eligibility:
- Indian citizen between ages 18-30 years
- Demonstrated interest in digital marketing through prior coursework, projects, or experience
- Strong communication skills in English
- Commitment to complete the full 8-week program
- Availability for placement assistance activities
Financial Criteria:
- Annual family income less than ₹8,00,000 from all sources
- Documentation required: Income certificate, salary slips, or ITR
- Preference given to candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds
4. Application Process
Phase 1: Application Submission
- Complete online scholarship application form
- Submit required documents: academic transcripts, income proof, government ID
- Write a 500-word essay on “Why Digital Marketing is Important for India’s Future”
- Provide two professional or academic references
Phase 2: Entrance Test
- Online aptitude test covering general knowledge, basic marketing concepts, and English proficiency
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Minimum qualifying score: 70%
- Test conducted via secure online proctoring platform
Phase 3: Personal Interview
- 30-minute video interview with IDA academic panel
- Assessment of communication skills, motivation, and career goals
- Discussion of essay submission and test performance
- Final selection based on overall evaluation
5. Selection Criteria and Timeline

- Academic Performance (30%): Marks and academic achievements
- Entrance Test Score (25%): Aptitude and knowledge assessment
- Interview Performance (25%): Communication and motivation
- Essay Quality (10%): Writing skills and understanding of digital marketing
- Financial Need (10%): Economic background and necessity for support
Timeline:
- Application Period: 15 days before each batch start date
- Entrance Test: Within 7 days of application deadline
- Interviews: Within 3 days of entrance test
- Final Selection: 48 hours before batch commencement
- Notification: Selected candidate informed within 24 hours of selection
6. Scholarship Terms and Conditions
Academic Requirements:
- Maintain minimum 85% attendance throughout the program
- Score minimum 80% in all assessments and projects
- Actively participate in all live projects and assignments
- Complete the program within the designated 8-week timeframe
- Participate in placement activities and job search processes
Behavioral Standards:
- Maintain professional conduct and respect for faculty, staff, and peers
- Adhere to IDA’s code of conduct and academic integrity policies
- Represent IDA positively in all external interactions
- Assist with IDA’s promotional activities as requested (reasonable basis)
Obligations:
- Provide testimonials and feedback for program improvement
- Participate in alumni activities and mentorship programs for future students
- Share career progression updates for a period of 2 years post-graduation
- Act as a brand ambassador for IDA within professional networks
7. Scholarship Forfeiture
Grounds for Forfeiture:
- Attendance below 85% without valid medical/emergency reasons
- Academic performance below required standards
- Violation of code of conduct or disciplinary action
- Providing false information in the application process
- Failure to participate in required program activities
- Voluntary withdrawal from the program
Process:
- Written warning for first minor infraction
- Final warning for repeated violations or serious infractions
- Scholarship termination for continued non-compliance
- No refund or compensation for forfeited scholarships
8. Post-Graduation Requirements
Alumni Obligations (2 years):
- Provide career updates and salary progression information
- Participate in alumni events and networking sessions
- Mentor new students and scholarship recipients
- Provide testimonials and success stories for marketing purposes
Placement Reporting:
- Report job placements within 7 days of offer acceptance
- Share salary details and job role information (anonymized for marketing)
- Participate in employer feedback sessions
- Maintain professional relationship with IDA placement team
9. Program Modifications
IDA reserves the right to:
- Modify scholarship criteria with adequate notice for future batches
- Adjust scholarship benefits based on program updates
- Discontinue the scholarship program with one batch notice
- Change evaluation criteria or application processes
Notification Process:
- Changes communicated through website updates and direct communication
- Existing scholarship recipients unaffected by changes during their program
- New criteria apply only to future application cycles
10. Dispute Resolution
Internal Grievance Process:
- Initial complaint to Academic Counselor
- Escalation to Academic Director if unresolved
- Final appeal to Management Committee
- Decision communicated within 10 business days
External Resolution:
- Mediation through agreed mediator if internal resolution unsuccessful
- Legal proceedings subject to jurisdiction of Bangalore courts
- All disputes governed by Indian law
